It’s time to step up your game and see what you can do with that axe sitting in the garage! All over the U.S. and Canada, axe throwing leagues are popping up like saplings in the spring. In fact, throughout multiple locations in Canada, you can join several different leagues like the Backyard Axe Throwing League, otherwise known as BATL. Here in the U.S., you can head over to Urban Axes in Philadelphia, or Bad Axe Throwing in Chicago.

With everything from group events to private leagues these places sure as hell beat your local dart night. Axe throwing leagues also give individuals the chance to throw their axes, tomahawks and other handled blades in a safe, fun environment. Want to show your boss just how much of an asskicker you really are? Have him bring the team to your local spot for a little friendly competition — winner gets a raise. Just don’t blame us if he beats you.
